So I'm singing to myself 'Once Upon a Dream' while I'm dusting (very Disney princess of me- singing while I clean!) when my little boy chips in 'I wish you'd sing a good Disney song, Mummy'.

I'm off to find out what song he'd like me to sing, but it's got me thinking, what's everyone's favourite song from Disney?

Mine would have to be either 'Once Upon a Dream' from Sleeping Beauty or 'Tale as Old as Time' from Beauty and the Beast.

I love "I See the Light" from Tangled. I've always been a big fan of duets. The two voices together sound gorgeous in Tangled. Also, one classic Disney song will always be Arial's "A Part of Your World." I've loved that song ever since the first time I watched the movie.

It's hard for me to pick a specific favorite song. Depending on my mood or what I'm going through in life I'll get attached to a song I feel I can relate to. But I think some of my favorites are "I See the Light" from Tangled, "Part of Your World" from The Little Mermaid and "I Won't Say I'm In Love".

My all time favorites would be "Beauty and the Beast", "A Whole New World" and "I Won't Say I'm In Love". I'd sing these songs in karaoke parties more than I should but I don't really care because they're such pretty songs! If I were to add another one, I'd have to agree with the others and say "I See The Light" from Tangled. That song can make me feel like I'm falling in love!

This is so hard to choose but I would definitely have to say the Tangled and Frozen song are the best. Frozen really had everyone from young to adults singing it. I have plenty more but those two are the best.

The Song from the Jungle Book that Mogli sings at the end called "My Own Home" is one of my favorites. I am really going to show my age here but I actually saw the Jungle Book in the theatre. My Dad let me and my brother skip school to see it. I just realized how cool my Dad is! I think that has one of the best soundtracks! It definitely makes me want to dance!

My favorite Disney song is "Hellfire" by Claude Frollo, from the movie The Hunchback of Notre Dame. The intense, dramatic energy Frollo puts into his song is both breathtaking and frightening. In the beginning of the song, he tells Maria, his Catholic idol, about his righteous deeds, and how he believes he is one of the purest men in Paris. Then, he questions Maria, asking her why he, a man of honor, has romantic feelings for the gypsy woman Esmeralda, even though gypsies are supposed to be the most impure people in the city. Next, he stares intensely into the fire burning in his fireplace, and sees Esmeralda's silhouette dancing seductively for him. When Frollo realizes that his sexual feelings toward Esmeralda are expanding, he backs away from the fireplace and from the dancing silhouette, yelling out "Hellfire! This fire in my skin, this burning desire, is turning me to sin!" This lyric which comes bursting from his lips is the center-point of the entire song. Frollo wants to have Esmeralda as his mistress or wife, however, because he believes that gypsies are impure human beings, he struggles to put to death his feelings for her, and becomes frustrated when his attempts are unsuccessful. I really like this song because it is the only Disney song I've ever listen to which accurately displays the frustrations of wanting to love someone, and yet being prohibited to love them.

I have a lot of favorite Disney songs!

The first one is 'Do you wanna build a snowman?' This is sang by Elsa in Frozen to her sister Anna when their parents died. It is such a cute song but more than that, it actually has a deeper meaning to it. She is asking Anna to help her grieve their parents' death but she refused to face her little sister. It is a really heartbreaking song.

I also loved Hannah Montana's theme song which is 'Best of Both Worlds.' I love love love this song and I sing with the opening everytime it plays lol. It summarizes the synopsis of the Hannah Montana story which is a girl who has two identities and she gets the best of both worlds through this.

Of course the oldie song of The Little Mermaid which is 'Part of your World' is also my favorite. I sing to this song all the time as Ariel is my favorite character. I love how the song depicts all the emotions that Ariel feels about wanting to be a human!

I absolutely love Disney songs. :) They are really inspiring and makes someone feel motivated. Well, I like the song from the movie "Frozen" called "Let It Go." It became so popular and I think the song really did deserve it. I also love the song "A Whole New World" from Aladdin. Who would ever forget that song? It is full of positivity/optimism. :inlove:

I love all Disney songs. They all hold a special place in my heart but if I had to choose just one that I liked the most. It would have to be When You Wish Upon a Star, from Pinocchio.
That song is just so beautiful and magical and it makes you feel good. I could listen to that song over and over again and never tire of it.

Picking just one Disney song is really hard because I love almost all of them! My top 3, in no specific order, would have to be "When I see an Elephant Fly" from Dumbo, "Beauty and the Beast" from Beauty and the Beast ;), and "Hakuna Matata" from Lion King. Just choosing those 3 took me awhile! Anytime a road trip is in my future I break out all the Disney classics!

I also love the song "Hakuna Matata." I believe this phrase means "Don't worry, be happy." :) It's all about being positive in spite of all the problems you are facing. ;)
