If I had to choose a favorite Disney princess I would have to say that it is Ariel. I always liked her because I thought that she was so brave for being able to stand up for what she wanted. She was able to stand up to her father to get what she wanted. I had always wanted to be able to do that. I know that when I was younger I had a hard time standing up for what I wanted in life. So, who is your favorite Disney princess, and why?

I like your reasoning. :) I think my favorite Princess would have to be Cinderella. I like that she had to put up with a lot of bad situations but she never became bitter. I also like that she was really pretty inside and out. She did menial work and never complained. In the sequel, she even provided for her wicked step family. I think her story sends a good moral message.

I think I've mentioned it before but I'll say it again. It'll always be Mulan! I just really love how she's so different from all the other princesses and she did everything to honor her father and save her country. I also love how strong she is despite all the challenges she faced and she has the cutest side kicks ever (maybe even sassiest)! I don't think my love for her will ever change. She's pretty amazing :)

Growing up my favorite was always Ariel. Being a lover of all things to do with water I felt i could relate a lot to her. I always wished I had a tail so I could swim with the fishes :) but once Tangled came out Rapunzel became a close second. It was almost like Disney based a princess off of me. Rapunzel and I are just so much alike that it's weird lol

I totally agree with you. Ariel is really a good example of a brave and strong woman. However, my heart would always choose Snow White. She has been my favorite Disney princess since I was a little girl.

I know, that is one reason why I always loved her. Snow White is another good one. I went through a phase where I loved her and would dress up like her when I was little. I even went to this thing where I was able to have breakfast with her. I thought that was the coolest thing. I always wanted to be like them when I got older.

When I was little I loved Belle because she was always reading and was nice, which is just how I wanted to be when i got older. I big bookworm that was friendly to everyone. As I got older i fell in love with Mulan, just because she went out of her way to help her family and didn't really fit what mold that the world wanted her to fit, which I become more of when I got older. Even though I know Belle is the same thing with that, I wasn't really a girl girly as a teen so I fit more with Mulan. Then when Brave came out, I fell madly in love with Merida's heart and sprite, along with just her story because my mom means everything to me even when I disagree with her. So I have two most favorite Princess Mulan and Merida then right under them are Belle as well as Tiana. I just love how Tiana never gave up on her dream and who she was.

When I turned 7 years old, I had a Snow White themed birthday party. :) It was really charming and I had a lot of fun. Good old memories. :inlove:

That is so awesome! I don't remember remember having any disney themed birthday parties. I pretty much only remember the Alice in Wonderland one that I had. I thought it was cool because my mom had someone make this cake with a barbie doll in a house, and she was sticking out of it like Alice does when she grows bigger. I thought that was pretty cool.

I love your reasoning as to why Ariel is your favorite. I agree with it 100%! She has always been my favorite princess growing up and for those exact reasons. She never cared what anyone thought and continued to go for what she wanted, even though she had many obstacles thrown in her way. Also, I understand in all the movies the prince always helps rescue the princess, but I love that in The Little Mermaid, Prince Eric learns that Ariel is different and still continues to love her for who she is!

I always thought Belle was the best Disney Princess. All the reading, dreaming, and a thirst for adventure. I was always so jealous of the library that the Beast gave to her!

I also really liked Mulan, although she's technically not a princess, I guess. She was super brave and strong.

I guess as a kid these two were who I wanted to be like - smart, brave, strong, and self-sacrificing.

My favorite princess has to be Belle. I always loved the movie, Beauty and the Beast. I loved how Belle is so beautiful, intelligent, and kind-hearted.

My favorite princess is also Ariel. Not only was she beautiful but she was strong and brave. She stood up for what she believed in and I admired that about her. I think she is a great role model for little girls. All the princesses are great though and special in their own ways.

I'm a redhead so I always loved Ariel - she was the cool, feisty princess that went against what others thought was best for her, which I thought was pretty inspiring! She's always been my favorite!
