Characters Your Little One Will Want to Meet at the Disneyland Resort

ANAHEIM, Calif. (September 7, 2018) – Meeting Disney characters is a must-do for young guests visiting the Disneyland Resort with their families. For many little ones, seeing their favorite Disney character in a Disney Park for the first time is a unique experience that creates magical memories that last a lifetime. Here are a few of the favorite characters that guests may encounter at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure parks.

• Vampirina – The star of the popular Disney Junior show makes her debut at Disney California Adventure starting Sept. 7, 2018, just in time for the Halloween season. Guests may find Vampirina outside of the “Disney Junior Dance Party!” attraction in Hollywood Land. Vampirina, a loveable young vampire girl also known as “Vee,” brings the spooky-fun with her wherever she goes, from Transylvania to Pennsylvania…to Disney Parks.
• Anna, Elsa and Olaf – The fabled sisters from Disney’s blockbuster hit “Frozen” can be found at Anna and Elsa’s Royal Welcome, inside the Disney Animation building at Disney California Adventure. Their comical friend Olaf appears nearby, greeting guests in Hollywood Land.
• Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse – No trip to Disneyland is complete without meeting the mouse who started it all. Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and their friends Goofy, Donald and Pluto appear regularly in Mickey’s Toontown.
• Winnie the Pooh & Friends – When they’re not busy exploring the Hundred Acre Woods, Pooh and his friends can be found greeting guests in front of The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh attraction at Disneyland. Even if Pooh has a little rumbly in his tumbly, he enjoys meeting little ones in Critter Country.
• Disney Princesses– Guests can meet Disney royalty as they stroll through Fantasy Faire, inside the Royal Hall. Here, guests have the opportunity to pose for photos with beloved princesses such as Snow White and Rapunzel.
• Woody and Buzz Lightyear – Head to infinity and beyond with these Pixar pals, who can be found on Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure.
• Captain America – Little Super Hero fans will be excited to experience the epic fun as they encounter Captain America in Hollywood Land, at Disney California Adventure.
• The characters at “Disney Junior Dance Party!” – Young guests love to dance with their favorite Disney Junior stars in this action-packed, musical experience, including characters such as Timon, Doc McStuffins and Sofia the First. “Disney Junior Dance Party!” takes place in Hollywood Land in Disney California Adventure.
